Welcome to ToastyFridays.com! A couple Fridays ago three of us found ourselves wanting a drink at Santana Row. Tired from a week's worth of stress, deadlines, and work ethics we decided that we did not want to deal with the usual suspects and chose Vintage Wine Bar for a more 'civilized' alternative to spend the evening. A bottle of Ridge, and a platter of cheese opened our eyes and changed our perception of Friday evenings.
As you can see we have gone through the trouble of creating an entire site dedicated to this idea. The idea being we meet once a month to enjoy familiar, new, and experimental wines all the while creating laughs, memories, and an all around good time. This leaves 3-4 Friday's a month to get completely intoxicated, go on holiday, hibernate, dates, or whatever it is that you do.
However there is a catch, you must bring the bottle, and you must have fun. We will have a predetermined theme, and attendees must adhere to such. The best wine of the night will be excused from bringing a bottle to the next event, after all this is a wine tasting.
We wish to encourage those of you who are new to the world of wine to attend, there is no snob appeal associated with this event. We hope that you share our vision as well. Register early as space is limited, and plan on having a good time.
